What is Reiki?:

Reiki has often been seen as an indefinable therapy so many people are reluctant to try it. Reiki is a natural healing therapy activated by intention. It has its origins in Japan as a method of healing developed by Dr Mikao Usui in the early 20th century. Reiki means universal energy and is non-invasive, gentle yet powerful.

In a Reiki session the practitioner will place their hands over or gently on the body (no need to remove clothing) The practitioner works with the flow of energy of the client and can balance and ease this through their hands.

What is Mindfulness?

Mindfulness is bringing our awareness to the present moment. This is helped through training our minds and focusing on our breath. This can be developed through the practice of meditation. Mindfulness can assist in calming a busy mind. There are different techniques that are taught to help one become more mindful.

What is Compassionate Communication?

Compassionate communication is increasing our awareness about ways in which we communicate with one another. We are often tied to a reactive mind. Through exploring our choices to dwell more calmly in our heart’s longings, we can be gently led, to a more fulfilled way of being.
