Hi I’m Chloe, a BACP-registered counsellor.
People decide to seek out therapy for a number of reasons. It’s a difficult step to take, and a very brave and vulnerable thing to do. I believe that therapy can help to make more sense out of life, and find more peace and joy in our day-to-day selves.
I have been involved in wellbeing and mental health for about ten years, working in a variety of industries. My passion is in helping people to explore their doubts, fears, hopes, and joys in order to live more fully as themselves. I work with people from all backgrounds and walks of life, and have had training specifically in working with the LGBTQ+ community.
I work holistically and intersectionally, looking at the whole picture of your life and how the different strands are working (or not working) together. This may involve how to deal more effectively with mental health issues like anxiety and depression, or building your self-esteem, negotiating a life transition, or exploring past events or relationships which you feel are still having an impact on your day-to-day life.
I can help with a range of issues, including:
- Anxiety
- Depression
- Life transitions
- Bereavement
- Body image
- Sexual orientation
- Low self-esteem
- Family dynamics
- Gender identity
