Starting counselling or psychotherapy can be daunting. You may know what you want to achieve but be unsure as to how to get there. You may also be worried about what may happen when you open the door to difficult feelings and thoughts. To help address this, I offer a warm and empathetic space where we can explore the issues you face. While it may be challenging at times, we’ll do this important work together, safely and at a pace set by you.

I support people facing a wide range of issues which include (but are not but limited to),

  • Anxiety
  • Stress
  • Depression
  • Bereavement
  • Trauma and abuse
  • Relationship issues
  • Personality issues
  • Self-esteem and confidence issues

My approach offers person-centred / psychodynamic therapy combined with elements of solution focussed therapy. In plain speak (which I favour!) this means I provide a non-judgemental space where we can explore how the past and present impacts how you feel and respond to the world. I also incorporate elements of mindfulness and value orientated action. Together these perspectives can allow you to achieve deep and long-lasting change.

I believe that everyone is unique. Because of this, the exact path we take is tailored towards you as an individual.  I believe this approach is effective for people who are facing a range of issues, including those who have had unhelpful experiences with other types of therapy in the past. As part of this philosophy, I am happy to offer both short and long term therapy options.

Fees: My fees are competitive and offer good value, please see for more information.

Free consultation: I offer a free and no-commitment initial consultation to anyone who would like to explore working with me. This consists of a relaxed 15-30 minute phone call where we can discuss what you would like to achieve in therapy, how we could work together and answer any questions you may have.

If you would like to find out more, I invite you to call or email me today.
