Lawrence Bergstrom & Associates
Lawrence graduated from The London School of Osteopathy having successfully completed the five year course, gaining over 1500 hours of clinical experience before entering practice as a Registered Osteopath. Since graduation Lawrence has been very busy in both private practice and the NHS where he is passionate to see Osteopathy offered to a greater proportion of the general public. Lawrence works with a broad range of presenting complaints and a very wide range of age groups.
Lawrence has experience working with elite and professional sports people at national and international level having previously been an elite level sportsman himself, understanding the unique and specific requirements of the sportsman/woman.
Lawrence has a particular interest in musculoskeletal diagnostic ultrasound imaging and works in conjunction with a consultant ultrasonographer / radiographer continuing to further research this highly diagnostic developing modality.
Lawrence is also a trained massage therapist and Western Medical acupuncturist.
When not in clinic Lawrence enjoys spending time learning to play his guitar better (Mr Hendrix watch out!) heading to a secret spot in Cornwall to surf the Atlantic waves or can sometimes be spotted out on his bike.

Private Ultrasound Scans
Private ultrasound scans are offered for diagnosis of tendon, muscle, ligament, dopplar, cartilage problems with consultant radiographer Lance Bird. Lance is a specialist in imaging of joints, has over 30 years experience and is a research fellow.
Includes diagnosis and a full 700 – 800 word report within 3 – 4 working days of the scan

More about Martin
Martin graduated from The European School of Osteopathy having successfully completed the four-year, full-time course. He gained over 1000 hours of clinical experience, both in adult and dedicated paediatric/maternity clinics before entering practice as a Registered Osteopath.
Martin uses an integrative approach to treatment incorporating cranial, structural and visceral osteopathy, allowing him to treat the body on many levels. Martin has a keen interest in paediatric and obstetric care, which are particularly suited to gentle cranial osteopathic and massage techniques.
Martin has a particular interest in persistent and chronic pain and is undergoing post-graduate training in musculoskeletal diagnostic Ultrasound and advanced cranial techniques.
Martin is also a trained massage therapist and Western Medical acupuncturist and keen to work with other disciplines if he feels that the patient would benefit from this.
Away from work, Martin is happiest outdoors and combines his passion for travel with motorcycling and mountain biking. He can also be spotted falling off a paddleboard at a beach near you!
